Brilliant people. Bold projects. Your next career move.

At Kindleworth, our people are at the heart of everything we do.

We help ambitious founders launch and grow their own law firms – and to make that possible, we need exceptional talent across finance, HR, technology, marketing, operations, and business development.

There isn’t a “typical” Kindleworth person – it’s about bringing your unique skills and using them to make a real impact. As our clients grow, so do we, creating an exciting trajectory where your contribution drives both your development and the success of the founders, team and firms we support.

Curious about what it’s like to work in a truly collaborative, high-impact, and fast-paced environment? You’re in the right place. We’re growing, our clients are growing – and this could be the career move you never knew you were looking for.

You’ll work on projects with real impact

Helping to launch new law firms has a fantastic purpose and our team take real pride in helping our newly launched law firm clients grow and become a success.

People working in a Big Law or corporate environment, particularly in operational functions like finance, HR, risk and compliance and technology, can sometimes feel a few steps removed from what their organisation actually does. At Kindleworth, our roles are all client facing. Your expertise and experience is vital to helping entrepreneurial leaders launch and manage sophisticated legal practices – often across multiple jurisdictions, simultaneously.

Over the past 14 years, we’ve launched 50 firms and offices across the globe. Every project is unique, but each one builds on the insights gained from the last. You’ll use that knowledge to support a firm’s day-to-day operations – or dive straight into the next launch. Along the way, you’ll develop expertise that is hard to find anywhere else, because few organisations do what we do – and certainly not at this level.

As one client shared recently, “What sets Kindleworth apart isn’t just their operational expertise – it’s the quality of their people. They’re strategic thinkers who genuinely care about our success. Watching their team grow and progress over the years, it’s clear they’re building something really unique. They’re a great team.”

That sense of real-world impact is sometimes missing from the average corporate or Big Law environment – but here, what you deliver is appreciated.

Guidance, mentorship and genuine support that leads to promotion

Especially for those coming from an organisation where their function was internally-facing, we understand the importance of supporting people properly ensuring they’re not figuring things out alone. You’ll have access to people who have done this dozens of times before. And you’re learning from experts who are invested in your development.

As Kacper Welke, who joined Kindleworth from Meta, puts it, “I joined as an IT Associate thinking I’d build skills in a different type of environment. What I didn’t expect was how quickly I’d have real responsibility working alongside partners – and how quickly I’d learn and progress as a result. Looking back over the last three years, the opportunities and progression I’ve had here have far exceeded my expectations…There’s no question I’ve done the right thing coming to Kindleworth”

We work in multidisciplinary teams to support our clients, so you’ll build knowledge outside of your own team. You’ll see how different parts of a business connect across geographies, understand the interdependencies and learn how to deal with complex problems with a positive, action-oriented, solutionist mindset.

We have more than doubled in size in the past three years and as we are continuing to grow, there are natural opportunities for you to progress and take on bigger roles. New opportunities open up regularly and we are delighted to see our teams growing their careers with us and sharing our success.

A workplace culture that just feels different

From the leadership outwards, we have a general philosophy that hierarchy, ego, politics and bureaucracy do nothing but get in the way of our best work.

Our shared focus is on serving clients and this simplicity creates a backdrop where strong teamwork and hands-on industriousness are embedded in our culture and how we work.

Here’s what it looks like at Kindleworth:

Variety: You’ll be working on multiple clients at any one time, so every day is different and you’ll never be bored. You need to be comfortable prioritising your own work to keep your clients happy.

Non-hierarchical, but not unstructured: You know what you’re responsible for, and you’re trusted to advise on the best way to deliver it. There’s support when you need it and autonomy when you don’t.

Diverse perspectives are our business proposition: Different approaches, varied strengths, diverse backgrounds – that’s the not-so-secret sauce that makes our launches successful and our culture unique.

Hybrid working: Our hybrid working does away with performative office attendance because we know we can trust you to get the job done.

Work hard, feel good: The firm expects excellent work, so naturally it provides excellent support in return. Not to mention proper high-quality, seasonal social events that bring people together.

Interested? We’d love to hear from you

The demand for what we do is accelerating as more partners are choosing autonomy and launching their own firm. In another exciting development for Kindleworth, we recently entered into a strategic partnership with Burford Capital that will help us as we grow our business both in the UK and internationally. This growth means opportunity for the right people, where your development could be rapid and your trajectory is tied to your contribution.

We’re hiring across finance, HR, operations, risk, and technology.
